Xiao Ban Tian

My grandparents live in this little village named Xiao Ban Tian.

Xi Fan with veggies, bamboo shoots, Soy Wheel (dou lun), You Tiao (Oily stick)
Egg and Dou gan.. a fairly traditional Taiwanese breakfast!

My grandparents took us to this restaurant named Duranta Brunch.. this western-ish styled Chinese-ish food.

Waitress: ...but we only have cold water and hot water..
Grandma: just put some hot water and cold water together and you'll get warm water! he he he!
